This Monday (13) in your ANBA Bulletin: Our reporter Thais Sousa experienced the world’s longest zipline in Ras Al Khaimah, the United Arab Emirates, at the invitation of the emirate’s tourism authority. Last week a cooperation agreement was signed between the entities carrying out the campaign Together for Syria and the Brazilian Cooperation Agency (ABC). The federal government will receive the campaign’s donations and take them by plane to Syria, which was hit by an earthquake in February. Mauritania is on an economic recovery path following the impacts from the pandemic and surging international food and energy prices. |

The region of the Persian Gulf has stood out more and more as a major hub of innovation and entrepreneurship. We at Orbital joined a mission of the Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce (ABCC) to Qatar and the United Arab Emirates approximately two weeks ago and had the opportunity to visit some leading innovation ecosystems in the two countries, and we were impressed with the infrastructure and local political will to boost the technological development.

Ras Al Khaimah – The world’s largest [please, dear reader, insert here something in the United Arab Emirates]. It is no joke when they say that the country seeks to do everything in giant proportions. I’d already seen the world’s highest building and the world’s largest mall. But this time, seeing wasn’t enough. The present writer took a one-day tour in Ras Al Khaimah, one of the seven emirates of the UAE. There I experienced the sensation of going from zero to 150 kilometers per hour in the world’s longest zipline.
