New oil prices a boon to Arab countries

This Monday (15) in your ANBA Bulletin: A special report on the new oil price step and how it impacts the Arab economies and Brazil. The price hike provides a relief in the form of trade surpluses, but Brazil experiences a particular reality as it also imports oil and struggles under the impact of a strong dollar.

Brazil’s Federal Senate approved last week the creation of the Brazil-United Arab Emirates Parliamentary Group. The group is designed to do cooperation services between the legislative branches in both countries.

In commemoration of women's month, you will find more on them here. Check out the story of Lebanon’s Jihan Zoghbi. She obtained her doctoral degree in Computer Science from USP and now chairs the Brazilian Healthcare CIOs Association, which spreads information on the fight against COVID-19.

Tuesday, 16, at 5 pm (BRT), will see an online event on women. The webinar “Female Leadership and Business Resumption” is hosted by LIDE Mulher and supported by the ABCC’s women’s committee WAHI - Woman Who Inspire.
