Brazilian furniture brand opens franchise in Dubai

This Thursday (24) in your ANBA Bulletin: Brazilian brand Ornare opened a custom furniture showroom in Dubai. Businesswomen Shalise Basso and Carina Fontes opened the franchise in the central district of Business Bay to offer highly customizable projects.

The Russia-Ukraine war has shifted the game between global players in the oil and gas industry. Countries like Saudi Arabia and Qatar could gain ground in the global supply.

Former ministers of Agriculture of Brazil discussed the current situation of country’s wheat and fertilizer supply during the Agro 360 show on Terraviva TV channel together with Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce (ABCC) president Osmar Chohfi.

Palestinian Hosam Omran joined artist residencies in Brazil

Multitalented artist Hosam Omran, born in Jordan to a family of Palestinians, came to Brazil in November 2021 for an artistic residency, first at São João Residency, a farm in the countryside of the state of Rio de Janeiro, and later, at Kaaysá Art Residency, on the north coast of São Paulo state.

In 2021 oil was the third most exported product from Brazil at 67 million tonnes shipped to China, the United States, India, Chile, Portugal, and South Korea. On the other hand, the country imported derivatives, mainly from Saudi Arabia, the US, Algeria and Iraq, says Brazil’s oil regulator ANP and the Secretariat of Foreign Trade (SECEX) affiliated with the Ministry of Economy. But just a small amount of derivatives came from Russia.

Brazil waives import tariffs on ethanol, six food products
