This Wednesday (30) in your ANBA Bulletin: Brazil’s agribusiness industry is going to great lengths to make sure logistics issues don’t get in the way of domestic and international food shipping amid the Covid-19 crisis. Thais Sousa spoke with executives from the Brazilian Confederation of Agriculture and Livestock (CNA), who discussed the scenario and the actions being taken. Also featured is a report on foreign sales by major Brazilian poultry and beef exporters. BRF said on Friday (27) that its shipping operations are going on as usual. So did Marfrig. Minerva, which serves many clients in the food services industry, has suspended activities at some of its facilities. Brazil’s government is putting in place measures to support small and medium businesses, as well as restricting entry of non-nationals. In Saudi Arabia, online shopping app Nana secured USD 18 million in investment to fund a Gulf-wide expansion drive. And Bruna Garcia brings you a selection of Arab restaurants offering delivery services in São Paulo. Enjoy!

To identify the current logistic challenges, the National Confederation of Agriculture (CNA) has opened a channel to listen to the needs of the producers.
