Women's Day: a meeting of Arabs and Brazilians

This Thursday (4) in your ANBA Bulletin: all about the online event "Arab Women Who Inspire," taking place next Monday, March 8, International Women's Day. Featuring simultaneous translation into Brazilian Portuguese and English, the event was designed to bring together Arab and Brazilian women. Organized by the Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce (ABCC)'s women's committee, it will feature special guests Hala Bugaighis, of Libya, and Maysoun Odeh, of Palestine. Both are the leaders of projects that impact the lives of women in their countries.

Pepper exports from Brazil to Arab countries broke a record in January. Industry specialists said demand is going up across the region. Executives from the Cricaré Basin Farmers Cooperative and from Biospicefoods discussed the sales.

Syria has products available to export this year, and Brazilian food company BRF's plant in Toledo, Paraná got cleared to ship breaded poultry items to Oman.
