Free trade Africa

This Monday (7) in your ANBA Bulletin: Business prospects with Africa after the continent’s free trade agreement came into force about a year ago. Morocco, Egypt, Algeria, and Tunisia are Arab countries in Africa participating in the agreement.

Arab countries could fulfill part of the supply gap in the Brazilian fertilizer market. Brazil is expected to cancel shipments from Russia, and authorities are looking for new potential suppliers.

A short documentary film from Santa Catarina was awarded at a film festival in Algeria. ‘Hinges of Paint’ [‘Gonzos de Tinta’] portrayed an artistic residency in Joinville and was produced by a group of university students.

São Paulo’s Immigration Museum will host an event on March 26 and 27 to celebrate the National Day of the Arab Community in Brazil. Short films and plays will make part of the program. The Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce is a partner of the initiative.

This Tuesday, March 8, Brazilian business people will be able to participate in a seminar on trade advantages in the United Arab Emirates. The event is hosted by the Arab Brazilian Chamber and Khalifa Industrial Zone Abu Dhabi (KIZAD). Registration is open.
