This Monday (10) in your ANBA Bulletin: Eleven Brazilian poultry processing plants are no longer allowed to supply to Saudi Arabia. The information was published in a list on the website of the Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA). The Arab Brazilian Chamber said in a statement it’ll collaborate in talks to reestablish the supply to the largest economy of the League of Arab States. This rose variety is what drives the region’s economy. It is one of the main ingredients in cosmetics, is used in necklaces offered by children to visitors on the streets, gives name to hotels and color to taxis. Moreover, there is a rose statue in Kelaat M’Gouna’s center and an annual flower festival that used to draw thousands of visitors before the COVID-19 pandemic.

Saudi Arabia suspended earlier this week the poultry imports from 11 Brazilian processing plants. The decision was published in a list on the website of the Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA), containing the plants permitted to export to the Arab country.
