Brazil expects demand for buffaloes from UAE

This Tuesday (25) in your ANBA Bulletin: Brazil expects to export buffaloes to the UAE. The Arab country approved last month certificates on live animal imports from Brazil. The Brazilian Association of Buffalo Breeders (ABCB) forecasts a growth in exports.

Food exports from Brazil to Qatar will now feature electronic integration. Export documents will be checked digitally starting from July. The Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce (ABCC) signed an agreement with Qatar’s Port Health and Food Control Section.

ABCC’s institutional development center Arab House issued a humanitarian appeal for the end of hostilities in the Middle East. The Brazilian government issued a note through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs calling for a peaceful resolution of the conflict between Palestinians and Israelis.

The ABCC office in Itajaí turned three years old, and the office of the organization in Dubai sought rapprochement with Fujairah. ABCC executives were received last week at the Fujairah Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

And how about relaxing with a movie by an Arab female filmmaker? Hosted by the Centro Cultural banco do Brasil, a festival screens 40 films directed by Arab women. The productions can be watched online until June 27. Many are premières in Brazil.
