Sustainability gains ground in Dubai fashion

This Thursday (26) in your ANBA Bulletin: The business history of Ethical Elements, from the United Arab Emirates. Founded by three female entrepreneurs, the company works on supplying sustainable materials to fashion brands in the Gulf countries. In an interview with reporter Thais Sousa, one of the partners expressed eagerness to work with ethical companies in Brazil.

The global foodstuffs market is affected by the Russian war. Brazil reduced import taxes on over 6,000 products attempting to lower prices. An IMF report shows that the Middle East and North Africa (MENA), major food importers, are strongly impacted by the surge in commodity prices.

Egyptian prime minister, Moustafa Madbouly, met with heads of the Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce and the Union of Arab Chambers in Cairo. They agreed to draft cooperation proposals to be signed at the Economic Forum Brazil & Arab Countries.
