This Thursday (4) in your ANBA Bulletin: Arab nations supply foodstuffs to Brazil. The Latin American country imports 7% of what it consumes in food and beverages. Arab countries take part as suppliers of products like sardines, olives, oranges and other items. A delegation from the Egyptian Customs Authority is in Brazil for a series of appointments aimed at fast-tracking the Arab country’s integration to the ABCC’s Ellos Blockchain system, which makes the foreign trade process electronic. And the Middle Eastern and North African economies are headed for a smaller growth this year than in 2022. High inflation and the conflict in Sudan are some of the factors.
