Jordanians to export more potash to Brazil

This Monday in your ANBA Bulletin (9): Jordan’s Arab Potash was visited by the Brazilian minister of Agriculture, Marcos Montes, and his delegation on Saturday (7). Executives of the company plans on boosting the supply of fertilizers as well as opening an office and have production in Brazil.

Our journalist Isaura Daniel is accompanying the Brazilian mission that will also visit Egypt and Morocco and features the participation of the Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce (ABCC).

Jordan aims to boost its trade with Brazil. And Jordan Phosphate Mines Company seeks a phosphate joint venture with Brazil.

And two Brazilian authors are launching books with a Sharjah’s publishing house.

Jordan, Brazil seek to boost bilateral trade

In addition to increasing the supply of fertilizers to Brazil, Jordan aims to expand trade with the South American country in other sectors. The minister of Agriculture, Livestock, and Food Supply (MAPA) of Brazil, Marcos Montes, discussed the subject this Sunday (8) with Jordanian ministers. Montes is in the Arab country as part of a mission to look for alternative fertilizer suppliers for Brazil.

Brazilian authors Veronika Topic Eleutério (pictured above, left) and Wiana Kell (right) will launch children’s books in the United Arab Emirates by Sharja’s publishing house Nour Publishing. Both authors live in Dubai and signed a contract with the Emirati brand through a contacty that Eleutério got in a book fair.

Tourism trade show in Dubai to begin on May 9

The Arabian Travel Market 2022 (ATM), the leading event for the travel industry in the Middle East, will take place from May 9 to 12 at the Dubai World Trade Center in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Tourism professionals from around the world will return to the emirate for the event that will welcome over 1,500 exhibiting companies and 20,000 visitors during the four-day show, UAE state news agency WAM reported.

Brazilian ministry mission to visit Jordan, Egypt, Morocco

A delegation from the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock, and Food Supply (MAPA) will depart from Brazil this Thursday (5), heading to Jordan, Egypt, and Morocco. The Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce (ABCC) also participates in the mission. Led by Minister Marcos Montes, the group will meet with representatives of private companies and government authorities to discuss the supply of fertilizers and the expansion of investments in Brazil. The meetings will also reaffirm the target markets for Brazilian products.
