São Paulo's Football Museum to have Arab attractions during World Cup
This Monday (14) in your ANBA Bulletin: The Football Museum in the city of São Paulo will have a special schedule for the World Cup, to kick off this Sunday (20) in Qatar. The museum will have an Arab food market and music from the region on the opening day, among other attractions.
Brazilian company Malwee presented its sustainability expertise at COP27 in Egypt. The industry employs nanotechnology to produce a pair of jeans using only one cup of water. Also at COP27, the president of Egyptair spoke about plans for a sustainable hangar and the launch of a nonstop flight between Brazil and Egypt.

Syria’s olive oil production for 2022 is estimated at 125,000 tonnes, according to information released by SANA, the country’s official news agency. Egyptian airline EgyptAir is assessing the installation of an ecologically friendly hangar to maintain large aircraft. Studies are being carried out to finance the work, and site selection is already underway. Oman intends to sign several Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) in clean energy during the United Nations Conference on Climate Change (UNFCCC COP27) in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt. Information is from Abdullah bin Nasser Al-Rahbi, ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to Cairo (pictured above). According to him, in ten years, Oman intends to become a regional hub for the production of green hydrogen, relying on the main elements necessary for its production, such as solar energy, wind energy, extensive plant spaces, and human resources.

Brazil and the Arab countries are expected to increase their partnership for sustainable business. The two regions already share a strong trade, and leaders from the private sector argued on Friday (11) at the United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP27) in Egypt that this collaboration should be extended to projects that help the world meet its emission reduction targets. The partnership between Brazil and Arab countries was the topic of a panel in the Brazil Pavilion at COP27.

São Paulo’s Football Museum will have a special schedule with Arab attractions during the 2022 FIFA World Cup, to kick off on November 20 with the tournament’s opening. The World Cup will take place in Qatar, an Arab country in the Gulf. On the first day of the competition, the Football Museum will have a food market with Arab cuisine and drink stalls and screen the Cup’s opening match between Qatar and Ecuador. The event will also feature an Arab musical attraction.

Brazilian protein exports have the potential to grow in the Moroccan market. According to Felipe Spaniol, Commercial Intelligence coordinator of the Brazilian Confederation of Agriculture and Livestock (CNA), despite Brazil being a significant exporter of animal proteins such as beef and poultry, it still does not make a substantial volume of shipments to Tanger-Med Port. The port complex in Tangier city is the largest in the Mediterranean and Africa.

Brazil’s state development bank BNDES will finance the Brazilian firm Embraer S.A.’s aircraft production and exports, the financial institution announced on Monday (14). The company will receive BRL 2.2 billion (USD 413 million) through the BNDES Exim Pre-Shipment credit line that finances export of goods.
