This Monday (16) in your ANBA Bulletin: a boutique café serving Arabic coffee and Moroccan-style tea opened last week in São Paulo. The café is set within the Arab perfume shop Al Ward, and it features furniture imported from Morocco.
In a bid to grow in markets across Asia and Middle East, the Brazilian egg company Katayama Alimentos opened an office in Dubai. Arab countries account for 20% of Katayama's exports.
And the Romanian-Jordanian designer Amina Muaddi launched her second shoe collection in partnership with singer Rihanna. The footwear is lush and assertive, just like the celebrity's tastes. Amina's father is Jordanian.

One the biggest poultry companies in Brazil, egg company Katayama Alimentos opened an office last October in Dubai, UAE. The effort was done in tandem with the São Paulo Investment Promotion Agency (InvestSP), and it also includes an office in Shanghai, China.

São Paulo – The Arab perfume shop Al Ward, in the Jardins neighborhood of São Paulo, will include a boutique Arabic coffee and Moroccan tea house in its premises. Café Boutique Al Ward will serve coffee brewed Arab-style and tea made as per Moroccan tradition, using ingredients shipped in from the Arab countries.

São Paulo – In a bid to provide incentive to the publishing market, the ruler of the emirate of Sharjah, UAE, Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, announced that AED 10 million – roughly USD 3 million at current exchange rates – will go purchasing books in Arabic and foreign languages.

São Paulo – Sugar exports from Brazil more than doubled in October, and sugar was the most shipped item from Brazil to Arab countries. The Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Supply reported that sugar exports fetched USD 1.2 billion last month, up 121% from USD 544 million in October 2019.
