This Monday (16) in your ANBA Bulletin: Brazil’s president Jair Bolsonaro visits the United Arab Emirates. He had appointments on Saturday (13) and Monday (15) and was welcomed by the country’s leaders like Abu Dhabi crown prince and Dubai emir. Among other activities, Bolsonaro participated in a seminar on investments. “We are sure we will expand trade relations, and you are our preferred partners. I already consider this my second country,” he said in Invest in Brazil Forum. The seminar “How to do business with the United Arab Emirates” was an appointment of a Brazilian mission that is in the UAE featuring over 300 businesspeople and executives held by the Brazilian National Confederation of Industry (CNI) with the support of the Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce (ABCC). Brazil’s former president Michel Temer spoke. A memorandum of understanding was signed by the ABCC and the state of Espírito Santo last weekend in Dubai aiming at strengthening cooperation ties between the state and the entity.

Brazil’s Bolsonaro considers the UAE his ‘second country’

The president of Brazil, Jair Bolsonaro, stated this Monday (15) he considers the United Arab Emirates “his second country” and announced the opening of an office of the Ministry of Tourism in Dubai to promote tourism to Brazil in the region. He spoke at the opening ceremony of Invest in Brasil Forum, an event organized by the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (Apex-Brasil), Brazilian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Federal Government, in partnership with the Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce (ABCC), Brazilian National Confederation of Industry (CNI), and Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Dubai Chamber).

In Dubai, Arabs were invited to invest in Brazil

Arab business people were invited this Monday (15) in Dubai, in the United Arab Emirates, by Brazilian leaders to invest in Brazil. The minister of Economy, Paulo Guedes, and other ministers called the Arabs at the Invest in Brasil Forum, presenting the potential for investment in several areas at an event attended by president Jair Bolsonaro.

Bolsonaro opens Brazil pavilion at Dubai Airshow

Brazilian president Jair Bolsonaro visited the Dubai Airshow aerospace industry show this Sunday (14) in the Arab emirate. He attended an air presentation at the royal pavilion, visited the spaces of Embraer and sector companies from the Middle East, and opened the Brazil pavilion at the show, which has six companies.

Representatives of the Brazilian private sector are in the United Arab Emirates seeking strategic business partnerships with the Arab country in a post-Covid world. Brazil’s Bolsonaro meets Dubai emir, signs agreements

A series of agreements were signed between Brazil and the United Arab Emirates this Saturday (13) at a meeting between the president of Brazil, Jair Bolsonaro, and the vice president and prime minister of the UAE, emir of Dubai, Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. Bolsonaro was welcomed by Maktoum at the Expo 2020 Dubai universal exhibition on his first appointment in the UAE, where he arrived Saturday morning.

Arab Brazilian Chamber, state of Espírito Santo sign MoU

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce (ABCC) and the Brazilian state of Espírito Santo this Saturday (13) in Dubai. The document was signed by the secretary-general of the ABCC, Tamer Mansour, and the undersecretary for International Business and Investment of the state of Espírito Santo, Gabriel Martins Feitosa.
