This Monday (18) in your ANBA Bulletin: Brazilian entrepreneur Luana Ozemela (pictured) started a business in Doha to help Brazilian companies wishing to do business in Qatar and vice versa. “Our company is considered by the Qatar Financial Centre board of executives as its only company led by a Brazilian woman. Our job is to render services both to Brazilian companies looking to do business with and in Qatar, and to Qatari investors seeking investment opportunities in Brazil,” Ozemela told our reporter Bruna Garcia.
The holder of a doctorate degree in Economics, last week she visited the Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce. The executive said that the Arab Chamber is a highly respected entity in the Gulf country. “We do a lot of work with the Qatar Chamber (of Commerce and Industry). They’ll often ask us if we work with the Arab Brazilian Chamber, and we hadn’t had the chance to be in direct contact up until now,” she said.
And Embraer received an order of three commercial E190 aircraft from Egyptian company CIAF Leasing, an order worth USD 161.4 million that was announced during the Dubai Airshow, taking place from Sunday (17) to next Thursday (21) in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The Brazilian manufacturer also announced a deal with Air Peace, a carrier in Nigeria, for three E195-E2 and that its military transport aircraft KC-390 will now be called Embraer C-390 Millennium.
