This Thursday (19) in your ANBA Bulletin: The BS2 bank has grown in foreign trade-oriented services, including foreign exchange for sales from Brazil to the Middle East and international accounts allowing for foreign exchange 24/7. The bank is 100% digital. Brazilian companies are finding their way into the Arab region. They include Yamá Cosméticos, which exported to Qatar, and Flash Engenharia, which sold to the UAE, as well as São Paulo, Brazil-based haute couture designer Emannuelle Junqueira, who now has a point of sale in Dubai. And Saudi Arabia is setting up 60,000 Wi-Fi points in public spaces, and FIFA Club World Cup is taking place in February in Qatar.

Brazilian company Yamá Cosméticos has broken into Qatar. Since February 2020, the company has sold its hair care lines Yamasterol, Nutrelliss and Fashion Fantasy. “We started through one point of sale in Qatar, and the product is already in the market. Now we seek out a local distributor to expand the work and reach a wider audience,” Yamá Cosméticos CEO Fábio Yamamora told ANBA.

 | The São Paulo, Brazil-based haute couture designer Emannuelle Junqueira had her first-ever parade in an Arab country. Her designs were featured at the Arab Fashion Week in Dubai, UAE late last October under the Brazil Noble project, alongside other Brazilian haute couture brands. The purpose of the project is to showcase Brazil’s high-end fashion industry across the Middle East.
