The fintech will be able to give access to game tickets to its customers and present a series of exclusive actions and content over the next year. A Brazilian business mission took representatives of over 320 companies to the United Arab Emirates earlier this month. The trip was held by the Brazilian National Confederation of Industry (CNI) and supported by the Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce and others.

Mission brought Brazilian businesspeople closer to Arabs

The Brazilian National Confederation of Industry (CNI) finished this Friday (19) the trade mission activities organized to the United Arab Emirates, in which Brazilian entrepreneurs were able to make business contacts and learn about the opportunities and economic reality of the Arab country. The delegation was the largest ever sent to the UAE, with over 320 representatives from 230 Brazilian companies, according to information from the CNI press office.

Brazil’s Nubank an official World Cup Qatar supporter

Brazil-based startup Nubank announced on Thursday (18) it will be an official supporter in South America for the 2022 World Cup Qatar. The country will be the first Middle East country to ever host the world’s largest football event. Egyptian company imports 165,000 tonnes of maize

Egyptian Starch & Glucose plans on adding new items to its line of products to diversify its portfolio following the global market changes. The company is an exporter, and Marketing director Karim Kamal estimates a share of exports at 30% of the company’s total sales, which means approximately USD 20 million a year.

Lebanese musician and Syrian singer blend poetry and pop

A collaboration between a Lebanese musician and a Syrian singer has given rise to the band Bedouin Burger. The duo blends classical Arabic poetry, experimental music and a pop style, and it started during the pandemic. The formation consists of Zeid Hamdan, a pioneer of Lebanon’s underground music scene, and Syrian singer Lynn Adib.

Egypt creates committee to expand trade with Africa

The Ministerial Committee for the Development of Egyptian Exports to African Countries held its first meeting (pictured above) this week, chaired by the minister of Planning and Economic Development, Hala El-Saeed. The meeting was also attended by the ministers of Justice, Omar Marwan; Transport, Kamel Al-Wazir; Public Business Sector, Hesham Tawfik.

Egypt leads investment attraction in Africa

The deputy minister of Supply and Internal Trade and president of the Egypt Internal Trade Development Authority, Ibrahim Ashmawy (pictured above), said the country leads the way in attracting foreign investment to Africa. He pointed out the volume of foreign investment in the African continent reaches USD 39.5 billion a year, of which Egypt receives a 15% share.
