This Monday (9) in your ANBA Bulletin: Brazil imports an average of 1,000 tonnes of dates a year, and the Arab countries are its main suppliers. But the date is still poorly known and is mainly consumed by the fitness crowd in Brazil. This year, due to COVID-19, imports decreased. Fashion designer Sandro Barros participated in a show in the Arab Fashion Week and now has a point of sale for his garments in the United Arab Emirates. He told ANBA that the Arab people has always been an inspiration for his work. And Brazilian trading company Neom Trade specializes in imports and exports of commodities, marble, granites, and gemstones. The company operates in the Arab countries of Egypt, Morocco, Qatar, UAE, and Saudi Arabia but plans on expanding its business across the region.
