Ras Al Khaimah aims to attract tourists from Brazil
This Monday (3) in your ANBA Bulletin: The emirate of Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates, is a 40-minute drive from Dubai and hired a representative in Brazil to attract visitors from the country. Ras Al Khaimah offers sea, desert and mountain tourism options. Senior citizens make up 6.6% of Egypt’s population or 6.9 million. The Arab country made public a survey on the occasion of the International Day for Older Persons. And experts discussed the possible changes in the direction of Brazil’s foreign trade in 2023 during a webinar held by the Institute of International Relations and Foreign Trade (IRICE).

The emirate of Ras Al Khaimah is investing to promote itself as a tourist destination for Brazilians. Since last March Boarding Gate has been a representative of the emirate in the country. Actions carried out included a road show that visited São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Goiânia, Recife, and Buenos Aires. According to Boarding Gate Brazil & Latin America Ras Al Khaimah Market manager Alex Bernardes, this is the first time the emirate is represented in Brazil.

“We are living in a very uncertain moment in the global context, with the effects of COVID-19 and the war in Ukraine, more uncertain prospects, challenging paths to assess, and impacts on foreign trade. In the case of Brazil, we have many internal and external challenges; we present some vulnerabilities and many opportunities from the beginning of next year,” said the president-director of the Institute of International Relations and Foreign Trade (IRICE), ambassador Rubens Barbosa, in an online meeting this Friday (30).
