World keeps purchasing fashion through e-commerce

This Thursday (7) in your ANBA Bulletin: fashion consumption worldwide continues to thrive in online stores, despite the pandemic mitigation in most countries. Abicalçados gave a panorama on the subject in a presentation that also showed the Brazilian footwear industry has already surpassed pre-pandemic volumes of international shipments.

Brazilian brand 067 Vinhos is expanding and has the Middle East as its target market. Brazilians Alan Oliveira and Gabriela Pache, founders of the brand, established Pantanal Trading in Dubai to facilitate sales of Brazilian goods in the region.

Brazilian publishing house Dublinense closed a deal with two Arab companies to publish three Brazilian books in the region by 2022. One of the works, 'Far from the Villages' [Longe das Aldeias], by Robertson Frizero, is already available in the Kuwaiti market.

From Dubai, journalist Bruna Garcia reports on Brazilian cosmetic companies exhibiting at Beautyworld Middle East, a sector show that took place in the UAE. The reporter also visited Qatar's pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai, which shows the conjunction of modern and traditional in the country.
