Read on the ANBA Bulletin of this Monday (01) that the president of the Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce, Rubens Hannun, believes that Brazil’s exports to the Arab countries could reach USD 20 billion in 2022. Last year, exports to the Arabs generated USD 13.6 billion. That is, foreign sales to the Arab countries need a 47% hike to reach this target. He presented the forecast in a lecture to students of the Pró-Líder leadership training program at the Arab Chamber’s headquarters, in São Paulo (picture above). Hannun stated that to expand business, in addition to trade negotiations, it’s important to take actions in other fields, such as cultural exchange and cooperation in the social area. “Without the building of cultural rapport, deals do not take place in a natural, sustained way”, he said.
