Read on the ANBA Bulletin of this Monday (29) that the Minas Trade and Business Association (ACMinas) is organizing, for November 7, a trade mission to Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The delegation will include 15 businesspersons and will launch in the Arab country the new version of the Minas Guide, a guide on how to do business in the state. “Minas has a lot to offer and we know we must work to build a relationship. This is our first step towards this,” said the Director and International Relations Board chair of ACMinas, Mônica Cordeiro (picture), to journalist Isaura Daniel.
Also a highlight on the bulletin is the trade mission organized by the Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce that is now in Algeria. The group that includes representatives of 12 companies arrived in Algiers on Saturday (27) and stays until Wednesday (31). Reporter Thais Sousa reports that the companies are from the cosmetics, coffee, grain and door sectors.
In the section Special Reports, read about the survey conducted by the Nutrition Department of the University of São Paulo (USP) on the role of food in helping Syrian refugees in São Paulo reclaim their identity. “We noticed that many of the refugees are working with food; many of them have degrees, they are engineers, doctors, executives, businesspeople, but couldn’t find an opportunity to work in their fields here and found in the Syrian food a way for their livelihood, said the Nutrition professor at USP and author of the study, Fernanda Scagliusi, to reporter Bruna Garcia.
