Arab countries supply textiles to Brazil

Did you know that some Arab countries in Africa are suppliers of textiles to Brazil? You will find out more about it this Thursday (10) in your ANBA Bulletin. Brazil imports clothing from Morocco and Tunisia and long cotton yarn from Egypt. However, imports are expected to slow down in 2020 as a result of the pandemic.

A webinar on Wednesday (9) delved into Brazilian-Moroccan relations. Farm machinery industry representatives expressed an interest in supplying technology to help advance Moroccan agriculture. Panelists included Brazilian and Moroccan diplomats.

Exports from Egypt to Brazil have gone up since the Egypt-Mercosur free trade agreement became effective three years ago.

The dean of the Council of Arab Ambassadors in Brazil, Ibrahim Alzeben, spoke with ANBA regarding the provision of aid to Lebanon. He gave thanks to all of Brazil, the Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce, and the other parties involved.

Poultry exports from Brazil increased in August, driven by countries including Saudi Arabia and the UAE.
