Webinar on how to sell processed food to Egypt
This Monday (12) in your ANBA Bulletin: A webinar will be held on Tuesday (13) on Egypt's processed food industry. Business opportunities and the regulatory environment are some of the topics of the event hosted by the Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce (ABCC) and teh Brazilian Food Industry Association (ABIA). Registration is open. The ABCC international office in Dubai held a mission to Oman last week on the occasion of the Bicentennial of the Independence of Brazil. Brazilian businesspeople and executives participated and discovered business opportunities. The book A Lua do Oriente e Outras Luas – Biografia e Poesia de Jamil Almansur Haddad [The Moon of the East and Other Moons – Biography and Poetry of Jamil Almansur Haddad] was launched by journalist Christina Stephano de Queiroz on the life story and work of the Arab descendent poet who lived from 1914 on 1988.

Brazilian of Lebanese descent Jamil Almansur Haddad and his literary work became the subject of a book launched this week in São Paulo by journalist Christina Stephano de Queiroz. ‘A Lua do Oriente e Outras Luas – Biografia e Poesia de Jamil Almansur Haddad’ [‘The Moon of the East and Other Moons – Biography and Poetry of Jamil Almansur Haddad,’ in free translation] retrieves the life story and writings of the poet, translator, and literary critic son of Arabs who lived from 1914 to 1988 and still is not well-known to the contemporary Brazilian readers.

The number of international flight arrivals to Brazil in August this year was the highest ever recorded since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic. According to the Brazilian Agency for International Tourism Promotion (Embratur), solely last month, there were 4,003 arrivals, representing 80.71% of the capacity in 2019. Compared to August 2021, there was a 232.35% increase in international connectivity.

How Brazilians can sell processed foods in Egypt is the topic of a webinar held by the Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce (ABCC) and Brazilian Food Industry Association (ABIA). The event “Brazil-Egypt Relations: Opportunities for Processed Foods in the Egyptian Market” takes place on September 13 from 10 to 11:30 am.

Brazilian executives and entrepreneurs got a first-hand insight into the business opportunities in Oman on a mission held by the Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce (ABCC) to the country earlier this week. Organized by the ABCC office in Dubai, the trip allowed representatives of Brazilian companies to have meetings with Omani businesspeople, which are expected to open new business fronts between the countries.

The Brazilian market and its opportunities were presented to Egyptian exporters this week at the seminar “Exploring export opportunities for Brazil,” held by the Egyptian Exporters Association ExpoLink in partnership with the Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce (ABCC). The services the ABCC provides to entrepreneurs through the institution’s office in Cairo were also showcased during the event, which took place online.
