This Monday (3) in your ANBA Bulletin: as of tomorrow (4), the Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce will accept registrations from food and beverage companies for a commercial mission to Qatar next December. The goal is to begin exploring opportunities in connection with the 2022 FIFA World Cup. The building of new establishments, such as restaurants and hotels, will fuel demand for products. “It’s part of the Arab Chamber’s policy to be more present in the Arab countries, to take member companies to them,” the organization’s president Rubens Hannun said. The trip will precede, by a few days, the food and beverage show SIAL Abu Dhabi, in the United Arab Emirates, which will feature a Brazilian pavilion organized by the Ministry of Agriculture. The idea is to enable participating companies to join both events.

He is interested in importing items such as dates, chocolate and savory snacks, and said two UAE companies are prospective business partners.
