Morocco: Embrapa seeks cooperation

This Thursday (09) in your ANBA Bulletin: Brazilian and Moroccan institutions in talks to cooperate; Brazil’s agricultural research agency Embrapa seeks to partner with the National Agricultural Research Institute of Morocco (INRA), and Brazil’s National Service for Industrial Training (SENAI), with Morocco’s Office of Vocational Training and Employment Promotion (OFPPT). SENAI could share expertise in online courses in Mechanical Engineering and Digital Education. Embrapa expects to cooperate in genetic material, soil and fertilizer management, and Agricultural Zoning.

The Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce invited trade associations to partner for activities at Expo 2020 Dubai, such as the UAE – Brazil Sustainability Forum, to occur on October 3.

The UAE’s ambassador to Brazil, Saleh Ahmed Alsuwaidi, pens an article on the development strategy for the Arab country’s “Projects of the 50” and the expectation of a leap in partnership with Brazil.

Arab Chamber calls associations for activities at Expo 2020

The Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce (ABCC) called on Brazilian trade associations to partner for Expo 2020 Dubai, a world’s fair in the United Arab Emirates from October 1 this year to March 31 next year. The invitation was made this Wednesday (8) at an online meeting of the Business Development Committee, an initiative by the ABCC to bring together representatives of trade organizations in the country.

Brazil’s Embrapa talks cooperation with Moroccan institute

Brazilian state-run agricultural research agency Embrapa is talking with Morocco’s National Institute for Agricultural Research (INRA) to develop a partnership. The heads of both agencies had two meetings earlier this year to learn in which areas there could be more synergy for the agreement. The topics under negotiation include exchange of genetic material of cultures such as wheat, soil and fertilizer management, and agricultural zoning.

Qatar set to open new Cup stadium in October 

‌

Qatar will open next month the Al Thumama Stadium in Doha, the capital city of the Arab country, which will host FIFA World Cup 2022 matches. The opening will take place in October 22, marking the completion of the sixth venue ready for the matches after Khalifa International, Al Janoub, Education City, Ahmad Bin Ali, and Al Bayt stadiums.

Brazil to host lectures on ornamental stones at The Big 5

Brazil will organize two lectures on ornamental stones during the show for the home and building sector, The Big 5, in Dubai, on September 13 and 14. The lectures are part of the It’s Natural – Brazilian Natural Stone export incentive program, developed by the Brazilian Ornamental Stone Exporters Center (CENTROROCHAS) in partnership with the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (Apex-Brasil). The lecturer will be Paulo Giafarov, an international consultant of ornamental stones and CEO of DGG Stones.
