This Monday (17) in your ANBA Bulletin: Brazilian president Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva visited the United Arab Emirates last Saturday (15). He was received by Emirati President Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan with an Iftar.
In the presence of the two leaders, agreements were signed on diplomacy, the environment and sustainable fuels. A Memorandum of Understanding provides for Arab investments of BRL 12 billion (USD 2.43 billion) in a project for production of sustainable diesel and jet fuel in Brazil.

Brazilian president Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva will arrive in the United Arab Emirates this Saturday (15) after his trip to China. The visit, at the invitation of the Arab country’s president Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, is the second official bilateral visit by the Brazilian leader to the UAE. The first occurred in December 2003, when Lula met with then president late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, considered the nation’s founding father.

Saudi Arabia invests USD 17 million in rose production

The amount was reported by the Ministry of the Environment of the kingdom, according to information provided by SPA, the Arab country’s official news agency. Rose farms are primarily located in the Sarawat Mountains of the Taif Province and harvest around 550 million flowers annually.
