This Monday (19) in your ANBA Bulletin: November 19 to 23 in Algeria will see the 17th International Public Works and Construction Machinery Show (SITP 2019), the country's premier construction industry show. Registrations are open. Algeria’s National Statistics Office reported that construction activity was up 5.8% and helped drive GDP growth last year. “The event is key for foreign companies aiming to break into the Algerian market,” according to the Algerian Company of Fairs and Exports (SAFEX), which organizes the SITP. The Diplomacia Civil program is looking for young Brazilians to join the World Green Economy Summit (WGES), a sustainability forum in Dubai, UAE next October. Students, professionals or researchers aged 18 to 35 can apply up until August 25. A fee is involved. And Brazilian operator Líbano Tour is organizing two trips to Lebanon in May and October 2020. The company is known for enabling Lebanese expatriates and descendants in Brazil to see tourist spots and visit relatives who live in Lebanon. “Many have family [back in Lebanon] but have lost touch. Where requested, we will do research to locate these families and then let them know that their Brazilian relatives are visiting,” said co-owner Luciano Aschkar.
