This Monday (2) in your ANBA Bulletin: Led by internationalization project Think Plastic, Brazilian plastic exporters will be featured in online B2Bs with Arab importers in late September and early October. The online strategy adopted by Think Plastic in the beginning of the pandemic has helped the industry increase sales. Year-to-date through May, exports of the companies supported by the project were up 20%. Brazilian and Morocco signed a technology transfer agreement on chargers for electric battery cars. And Brazil’s Minister of Science, Technology and Innovation will hold activities in the Space Week at Expo 2020 Dubai in September. The Arab Brazilian Chamber supports the initiative.

E-mobility: Brazil inks deal with Morocco

Brazilian researchers will transfer technology on the manufacture of chargers for battery electric vehicles. The agreement was penned last Thursday (29) between INESC P&D Brasil and Green Energy Park (GEP) of Morocco. INESC is a non-government organization whose members are several Brazilian public universities and the Institute for Systems and Computer Engineering, Technology and Science (INESC TEC).

Arab Chamber, Science Minister partner up for Expo 2020

The Brazilian Ministry of Science, Technology, and Innovation (MCTI) will collaborate with the Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce (ABCC) to showcase the Brazilian space sector to the audiences at Expo 2020 Dubai. The executive secretary of the Ministry, Sergio Freitas de Almeida, met with heads of the ABCC in the city of São Paulo this Friday (30) to discuss cooperation and other possibilities for strengthening ties between Brazil and the Arab countries in the area of science and technology.

Plastics sector increased exports amid pandemic

Led by Think Plastic Brazil, an international promotion project for the segment, companies began an intense schedule of online events, which has been driving foreign sales.

Arab importers, distributors and retailers interested in talking business with Brazil-based converted plastic product suppliers can register for online B2Bs until September 16. The meetings will take place from September 20 to October 7 with 15 Brazilian companies.
