Arab Brazilian Chamber’s Dubai office turns two

This Monday (22) in your ANBA Bulletin: The Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce’s international office in Dubai, United Arab Emirates turned two years old. Upon opening of the outpost in February 2019, the entity began taking in Arab enterprises as members.

Brazilian wheat exports to Arab countries hit record in January. Experts say the growth is related to a high demand in the Arab countries and a smaller supply from major producer countries.

And several online courses have been made available in Brazil on topics related to the Arab world, from literature to the women issue and history.

The Group of Studies and Research on the Middle East (GEPOM), with the support of the Brazilian Center for International Relations (CEBRI), will offer several online courses from March to April. The four-class courses address history, gender, international relations, and other topics related to the Arab culture.

Brazilian wheat exports to Arabs hit record in January

In January, wheat and meslin exports from Brazil to the Arab countries fetched USD 26.78 million, a record-high since 2017. They reached 124,715 tonnes, and top buyers were Saudi Arabia and Palestine. The figures are from the Market Intelligence department of the Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce (ABCC).

Brazil slashes bicycle import tariff
