The Arab country's imports of the products were up 87% in the first half of the year, which was mainly driven by its economic recovery due to the vaccination rate. Bahrain increased imports of products from Brazil by 169% in the first half of 2021. Iron ore had the leading role in the trade growth, accounting for 93% of shipments to the Gulf country. The Arab country’s search for the Brazilian product can be explained mainly by the race to an economic upturn among countries that are leading the COVID-19 vaccination.
