Eid al-Fitr boosts Muslim markets

The ANBA Bulletin this Thursday (13) brings news about how the holiday that marks the end of Ramadan, Eid al-Fitr, boosts sales in countries with Muslim populations. Most followers of Islam give gifts to their children and wear new clothes on the date. The sales volume is great.

And Egypt has announced investments in the southern part of the Suez Canal, where a cargo ship was stranded in March. The Canal will be widened and deepened to receive more ships.

Arabs imported 40% more Brazilian coffee this January-April

The Arabs stood out among Brazil’s main trading partners in the coffee sector in the first four months of 2021. The block imported 678,000 bags of 60 kg of Brazilian produce, a 40.5% increase compared to the volume purchased in the same period last year. The data were released in a monthly report by the Brazilian Coffee Exporters Council (Cecafé).

Sudan’s doors are open for Brazilians

The chargé d’affaires at the embassy of Sudan in Brasília, minister plenipotentiary Mohammed Elrashed Sidahmed Mohammed, visited the headquarter of the Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce (ABCC) in São Paulo on Monday (10), and told ANBA that Sudan is ready to receive investment from Brazilian companies.

Egypt prepares to produce electric cars
