Brazil's VP pledges to help with Arab relations

This Friday (15) in your ANBA Bulletin: all about the webinar hosted by the Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce this week featuring Brazil's vice president Hamilton Mourão. He made himself available to assist with addressing obstacles to trade and investment between Brazil and the Arab countries, such as double taxation and the lack of a direct shipping lane. Arab Chamber president Rubens Hannun played host to the webinar, which featured the organization's vice presidents.

Brazilian agribusiness exports soared to an all-time high last April, and foreign sales of coffee climbed 9% according to an industry association.

Algeria has begun making Covid-19 test kits. Its Vital Care company is putting out 200,000 kits a week. And in another bid to fight the pandemic, the Arab Chamber donated 2,500 cloth coverings to the Santa Casa de Misericórdia Central Hospital in São Paulo.

Brazilian açaí-and-date mix by Royal Queen is now selling in Dubai, UAE. And an online shop is carrying items that reference Lebanon, such as T-shirts and jewelry.
