This Monday (22) in your ANBA Bulletin: The Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce (ABCC) organized areas for Arab firms in supermarket fair APAS Show 2023. Contracts signed during the show will yield USD 9 million worth in deals for the next 12 months. Pictured above, ABCC president Osmar Chohfi talking in the closing event. And Brazilian firm Inpasa manufactures maize byproducts that are exported to Arab countries, including oil and animal livestock feed DDGS. The firm aims to boost shipments to North Africa and the Middle East.

Brazilian company exports livestock feed inputs to Arabs

Founded in 2006 in the municipality of Nueva Esperanza, in Paraguay, Inpasa is currently one of the leading producers of maize byproducts in Brazil. It processes 7.5 million tonnes of maize annually and produces 3.5 billion liters of ethanol. The company also produces two derivatives already exported to Arab countries: Corn oil and DDGS, a supplement for animal feed. One of the company’s goals, as a member of the Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce (ABCC), is to expand sales to the Middle East and North Africa (MENA).

Rondônia Rural Show holds event to internationalize state

The 10th edition of the Rondônia Rural Show Internacional will take place from May 22 to 27 in Ji-Paraná, with initiatives for the internationalization of business and products from the state. Ji-Paraná is Rondônia’s second most populous municipality of the state and hosts the largest agricultural trade show in North Brazil. The annual show is held by the government of Rondônia through its Secretariat for Agriculture. This year’s theme will be “Sustainable Technologies.”

APAS Show 2023 generates USD 9 mn in business for Arabs

The participation of Arab companies in the stands of the Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce at the supermarket sector APAS Show 2023 rendered over 1,000 trade meetings and generated USD 9 million in business expectations for the next 12 months. The space destined for the Arabs this year was the largest ever seen at the event, with 214 square meters split across three pavilions. Twenty-seven Arab companies participated. Of these, 25 were from Egypt, Jordan, the United Arab Emirates, Iraq, Tunisia, and Saudi Arabia, and two were from Brazil and have operations in the region. Delegations from Palestine and Libya also came.
