Women of Brazil Group creates branch in Dubai

This Thursday (1) in your ANBA Bulletin: Women of Brazil Group has opened a branch in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Initiative heads, including businesswoman Luiza Trajano, participated in an event at the Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce this week, in which executives from the companies BRF, Mac Jee, and FAME also shared their business experiences with the Arab world.

Brazil's Marcopolo sold 22 buses to Sharjah, one of the UAE's emirates. Representatives of the Sharjah Road & Transport Authority (SRTA), the buyer, came to Brazil for a technical visit to the Brazilian industry. The delegation was received this week at the Arab Brazilian Chamber.

Egyptian fertilizer industry Magic Green intends to expand its production capacity and portfolio and sell to Brazil.

A wall in front of São Paulo state’s Immigration Museum was transformed into windows with eight characters from different backgrounds to celebrate the diversity of migrants and refugees in Brazil. The newest work by artist Eduardo Kobra is the 736-square-meter mural ‘Windows Open to the World’ [‘Janelas Abertas para o Mundo’], located in the Mooca neighborhood on the east side of São Paulo city. Among the real people portrayed in the vibrant colors that are the artist’s signature, three are Arabs from Libya, Palestine, and Iraq. The others are from Venezuela, Angola (2), and India (2).

‌ Brazil’s Marcopolo sells 22 Volvo buses to Sharjah, UAE

The Sharjah Roads & Transport Authority (SRTA) representatives are in Brazil for a technical visit to the Brazilian Marcopolo bus body factory. About three months ago, the manufacturer sold 22 buses to Sharjah, in the United Arab Emirates. The Volvo-chassis fleet will be used for lines crossing between different cities. SRTA purchased the vehicles through Al Futtaim Auto & Machinery Company (Famco), representing Marcopolo in the UAE and Qatar.
