Brazil has carbon-free meat label

This Tuesday (8) in your ANBA Bulletin: the Brazilian Agricultural Research Corporation (Embrapa) developed a carbon-free meat seal in partnership with meat packer Marfrig. Producers are required to counteract methane emissions from cattle by raising them among trees. Marfrig retains exclusive rights to the label for a ten-year perriod.

Global sales of comfortable footwear such as flip-flops and toe-thong sandals have fared better than those of other footwear amid the pandemic. Brazilian Footwear Industry Association (Abicalçados) numbers show that flip-flop sales decreased by less than total sales.

The Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce is hosting a webinar next Wednesday (9) on the agricultural connection between Morocco and Brazil. The Arab country suppliers fertilizer to the world, while Brazil is a supplier of foodstuffs. Registration is open.

And additional donations have been shipped from Brazil to Lebanon. The items were collected by the Lebanon Humanitarian Aid Movement. Businesses and Brazil's federal government are also helping enable the provision of aid.
