São Paulo – Passenger traffic at the Abu Dhabi International Airport was up 17.4% year-on-year in October to 1.68 million travellers. The information has been released this Wednesday (26th) by Abu Dhabi Airports, the company in charge of managing the facility.
Aircraft traffic was also up year-on-year in October, by 15.2% to 13.700 departures and arrivals. In October, 72,170 tonnes of cargo were handled at the Abu Dhabi Airport’s three terminals, up 16% from October 2013.
Last month, the busiest routes at the Abu Dhabi International Airport were to Bangkok, Doha, London (Heathrow), Manila and Manama; these routes accounted for a combined 17% of traffic.
