São Paulo – The General Union of Arab Chambers of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture will hold the 17th Arab Investors and Businessmen Conference on November 16th and 17th in Abu Dhabi, the United Arab Emirates. The organization’s presidency reported that the congress will be themed “Investing in entrepreneurship and innovation.”
The General Union is the private art of the League of Arab States and congregates business organizations in the Middle East, North Africa and other countries, including the Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce.
According to the presidency, the conference is intended to underscore the importance of entrepreneurship and innovation and of the institutions that support these initiatives; giving visibility to projects that add value to production, are sustainable and create knowledge, among other features; and set the rules and incentives required to spur entrepreneurship and innovation in the Arab world.
Besides, successful experiences in the region and existing investment opportunities will be presented. According to the General Union, another goal of the conference will be to seek out possibilities for cooperation and joint actions between Arab countries to foster entrepreneurship and innovation.
The event’s organizers also include the Arab League, the UAE Ministry of Economy, the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry and others. The event will be attended by business entity delegates, state-owned organizations, multilateral organizations, financial institutions and executives from different areas.
