São Paulo – The 14th edition of the Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition & Conference (ADIPEC) will be held in the capital of the United Arab Emirates from November 1st to 4th. This year, the event should have its largest edition ever, with over 1,600 exhibitors in the 31,000 sq metres of the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC).
The exhibitors will showcase the newest developments in exploration and production, processing, refining, storage and transport. "ADIPEC is currently the world’s second event oil and gas industry largest, and the largest one outside of the American continent, and the Middle East continues to strengthen its position as a business hub for emerging economies," said the fair’s director Hifazat Ahmad, in a statement.
Aside from the exhibition area, ADIPEC will feature a conference on the theme " Working together to deliver sustainable growth: innovative teams and technology deployment." The conference will feature 262 lecturers from 33 countries.
There will be an award for six categories in the fields of technological innovation, financial projects and leadership programmes. The main international exhibitors include companies such as ExxonMobil, Saudi Aramco, British Petroleum, Total and Shell.
