Agreement between Mercosur and GCC to promote rapid increase in trade
This is the opinion of the ministers from the countries of the two blocs, who signed a framework agreement yesterday. The document marks the beginning of negotiations for a free trade treaty. The two parts also committed to encourage technical cooperation and the flow of capitals. Signing the agreement was considered by the ministers one of the high points of the summit for South American and Arab countries.
