Brasília – A public consultation began this Friday (6th) for the submittal of suggestions for concessions at four international airports: Salvador’s Deputado Luís Eduardo Magalhães; Porto Alegre’s Salgado Filho; Florianópolis’ Hercílio Luz; and Fortaleza’s Pinto Martins. According to the National Civil Aviation Agency (Anac), the consultation will last 45 years, with onsite sessions in the cities involved.
The consultation allows one single bidder to win concession for more than one airport. The minimum amount for purchase of the concession of the airport in Salvador is BRL 1.490 billion (USD 420 million), the second highest price, trailing Fortaleza, whose minimum bid is higher than BRL 1.5 billion (USD 422.9 million). The minimum bids for the Porto Alegre and Florianópolis airports are roughly BRL 729 million (USD 205.5 million) and BRL 328 million (USD 92.4 million). The minimum bids for all four airports combined is higher than BRL 4 billion (USD 1.1 billion).
