São Paulo – A group of 10 Brazilian startups will go on a mission to the United Arab Emirates in October. Applications are open until this Wednesday (4) for companies interested in participating in the initiative, organized by the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (Apex-Brasil) and the Brazilian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in partnership with the Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce (ABCC) and Dubai Chamber.
According to information released by Apex-Brasil, the goal is to take representatives of startups with the potential to open operations in the Arab country to the UAE. The preference is for companies operating in the renewable and clean energy, transport, technology, education, health, water, space, agriculture, livestock, and fishery sectors.
The schedule will include participation in Gitex Future Stars, the largest startup event in the Middle East. The mission will occur from October 17 to 22, and the Gitex show takes place within that period. The mission’s agenda will include preparatory seminars, technical visits, and participation in the show, including conferences, company pitch sessions, and exhibitions. Gitex welcomes everything from startups to technology giants presenting innovations.
