São Paulo – The Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce released its new, entirely reformulated Internet page on Friday (1). More dynamic, easier to browse and with more modern design, the page now offers new services and includes an Arabic version, as well as the already existing Portuguese and English versions.
"With the new tool, we seek to show businessmen how the Arab Chamber may help in trade negotiations, offering a broad portfolio of specialized services, as well as information to aid in business," said the Marketing vice president at the organisation, Rubens Hannun.
"Another challenge we faced with success was that of making the content available in Arabic," added the executive. He pointed out that, with this, users in the Arab countries may have access to the content "in a culturally adequate form", that is, in their own language.
One of the highlights is the possibility for businessmen to accompany the process for origin certification of documents at the Chamber. On the one hand, Brazilian exporters may verify the development of the certification process. On the other hand, Arab importers may trace the certificate of origin and even prove authenticity of the documents received.
The page also brings detailed information about Brazil and the Arab countries, from general figures about them, like population, climate and time zone, to information on culture and tourism, as well, of course, as trade figures.
Apart from the information made available on the Web, on the site, users may find contact information for the Chamber’s trade advisory, which counts on professionals qualified to supply the demands of businessmen.
Regarding communications, the page also shows the latest ANBA news as well as links to all services offered by the Chamber in the area, like the Brazil-Arab News Agency web page itself, the Arab Chamber Magazine (in Portuguese and Arabic), the Arab Chamber TV and the organisation’s profile on Twitter.
Users also have access to currency converters, event calendars and to other services offered by the Arab Brazilian Chamber.
