São Paulo – A delegation from the Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce (ABCC) in Dubai visited the Syria pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai on Thursday (10). The head of the ABCC international office in Dubai, Rafael Solimeo, and international business executive Noury Dweidary took Brazilian businesspeople to the Syrian pavilion and were welcomed by chief commissioner Ghassan Abbas. They participated in a guided tour, met Syrian companies exhibiting there and talked about business and cooperation opportunities between the countries.
“Our participation in this global event offers a unique opportunity for presenting the Syrian civilization and culture to the world, as well as the economic opportunities offered by Syria in many sectors, including food, tourism and media industries, in addition to healthcare, infrastructure and others. We’re please to welcome the delegation of the ABCC to get to learn more about the many commercial and economic opportunities in Brazil for Syria-based firms,” Abbas said.
The visit featured the Syrian pavilion’s director Khaled Al-Shamaa, commercial coordinator Manaf Arnous and other members.
Expo 2020 Dubai started on October 1st 2021 and runs till March 31.
