São Paulo – The Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce (ABCC) will hold the event Digital Transformation – The New Era 5.0 in International Trade next Thursday (9) at 9 am. On the occasion, the entity’s 2023 calendar of activities will also be presented. Registration is open, and the hybrid event is open to the public. The event can either be attended in person in the ABCC auditorium or be watched online via Zoom. It will feature translation into English.
This will be the first event of the ABCC in 2023. Industrial Engineering professor Alejandro Frank of the Federal University of Rio Grande (UFRGS) will talk about Digital Transformation and new international business models. Foreign Trade Single Window Program manager and Finance Ministry’s Secretariat of Foreign Trade general coordinator Tiago Barbosa will discuss Integration and digitization of Brazilian customs.
ABCC president Osmar Chohfi will open the event. ABCC Marketing & Content director Silvana Gomes will present the entity’s 2023 calendar of activities. ABCC Technology & Innovation director Marcos Bulgarelli will talk about the future with the Ellos platform, while Ellos Business analyst Laércio dos Santos will present Easy Trade and how it can simplify business.
The event will delve into the new reality of foreign trade, which has moved at a rapid pace towards the electronic. The experts speaking at the event will give an overview of what is going on around the world, the advantages brought to Brazil in this regard by the Foreign Trade Single Window, and what the ABCC has done for digitizing trade. The calendar of the entity, which will be presented at the event, is already focused on this new reality.
