São Paulo – The Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce said this Friday (20) that it’s putting in place measures to prevent contagion from coronavirus (COVID-19). In line with recommendations from the Ministry of Health and the World Health Organization (WHO), as of Monday (23) all personnel will be working remotely, except some of the staff in the Certification Department, whose work hours will change.
Document intake will be available from 10am to 2pm starting March 23. This minimizes the likelihood of contagion while ensuring the continuation of services. All other personnel will work regular hours from home and will be reachable via email.
The Arab Chamber also said it is keeping in touch with authorities in Brazil and the Arab countries to keep track of any potential impacts of coronavirus on trade flows, especially concerning key export items.
