São Paulo – The ambassadors of the Arab countries to Brasília met last week with the political undersecretary general of the Ministry of Foreign Relations, ambassador Paulo Cordeiro de Lima, at a dinner promoted at the house of the ambassador of Oman, Khalid Salim Al Jaradi.
According to the dean of the council of Arab ambassadors in Brazil, the Palestinian Ibrahim Alzeben, the meeting was promoted to "exchange ideas about several points of interest to Arabs and Brazilians.”
“We discussed opportunities between Brazil and the Arab countries and the bilateral dialogue Brazil has with these nations,” he said. According to Alzeben, the Arabs want to expand meetings with Brazilian diplomats in coming months, but, for the time being, there is no schedule for the meetings.
