São Paulo – The Brazilian Electric and Electronic Industry Association (Abinee) will promote the course “Exporting II”, in São Paulo, on October 8th, targeted mostly at small and medium businesses either affiliated with the organisation or not. The objective, according to the Abinee, is to train employees from participating companies to operate in foreign trade.
The course, 08:30 am to 05:30 pm, will be administered by Raphael Xavier Wachholz Voltolini, International Business manager of the Bank of Brazil.
The program includes the following subjects: price formation, sales conditions (Incoterms), payment modalities, Generalized System of Preferences (GSP), agent’s commissions, exchange rate issues, export financing, drawbacks, export credit insurance, and simplified exporting.
For companies affiliated with the association, the course costs 200 Brazilian reals (US$ 110). The price for non-affiliated businesses is 250 reals (US$ 138).
