The volume of funds reached US$ 209.6 billion last Thursday, the highest level ever, according to the Central Bank of Brazil.

The figure resulted from US$ 2.719 billion in exports and US$ 2.08 billion in imports, according to the Brazilian Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade.
The sum of dollar inflow and outflow in Brazil posted a surplus of more than US$ 1 billion in June. So far this year, the surplus has reached nearly US$ 2 billion, according to the Central Bank.
Brazil exported 132,000 tonnes in June, a sales volume 9% higher than in the same month of last year. Egypt and Algeria are among the leading target markets.
In the first half of the year, 1.44 billion units were sold in Brazil, representing growth of 3% over the same period of last year.
The Central bank of Brazil has reduced the GDP growth forecast for this year from 1.2% to 0.8% in its quarterly forecast.
The index researched by FGV reached 106.4 points in June, the highest level since September last year.
