Revenues from foreign sales in 2008 were 14% lower than in 2007. The industry expects trouble in 2009 because of the international crisis.
State-owned company produced an average of 2,175,896 oil barrels/day in the country in 2008. Added to extraction abroad, the volume rises to nearly 2.4 million barrels.
